The Columbia River Rats had to overcome a good performance from Niagara Falls pitcher Seung-woo Ch'oe to claim a 3-0 win at Waterfall Park. Ch'oe went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. Hubert Reed picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-5. Rodrigo Valderrábano was tagged with the loss. With the win, Columbia raised its record to 42-37.

Columbia used the timely hitting of Dylan Briggs to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the River Rats on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Briggs said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
