The Syracuse Storm topped the Niagara Falls Expos, 9-4, in M3L Single A action at Waterfall Park. The standout performance belonged to Syracuse pitcher and Manhattan, New York, native Milton Kirksey. Kirksey got the win, improving to 4-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. Kirksey allowed 3 runs.

In the top of the first, Marvin Roberson ambushed a 1-0 sinker from Seung-woo Ch'oe and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Syracuse a quick 2-0 lead.

"We came out aggressive," said Storm manager Vincent Hall. "We came out swinging the bats."
