Extra-Inning Win by Generals Over Airmen
|
Washington Generals starter Nathan Hamilton was in fine form against the Alameda Airmen at Alameda Field, leading his team to a win, 4-3. Jesse Larson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Alameda now has a 5-game losing streak.
Washington used the timely hitting of Kelvin Holt to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Generals on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Hamilton.
