The Belleville Bulls and Put-In-Bay Commodores were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Belleville had no answer for Put-In-Bay Commodores starter Edgardo Gutiérrez, who flummoxed Bulls hitters as the Commodores cruised to victory, 6-1. Jesús Milano was credited with the save for Put-In-Bay, his 1st of the season.

With one out in the bottom of the fourth, Weldon Gentry barreled up a fastball from Hong-bin Hark. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Commodores in front, 4-0.

"I know we have our doubters," said Belleville manager Steve Bryan. "But I still have high hopes for this team."

The Commodores now have a record of 9-36.
