Storm Rally For Late Win Over Godfathers
Omar bin Hatim pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Pontiac Godfathers, despite bin Hatim's fine outing, dropped a 3-1 decision to the Syracuse Storm at Pontiac Copperdome. Milton Kirksey was credited with the save for Syracuse, his 7th of the season. The Storm are now 13-17, while the Godfathers fall to 12-18.

In the top of the seventh inning, left fielder Michael Wright came through big-time for the Storm. With Syracuse trailing 1-0, he belted a solo home run.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Wright said after the game.
