The Grand Forks Caterpillars got a stellar performance from pitcher Bob Daniel, who handcuffed the Columbia offense en route to a win, 10-1, at The Cocoon. Daniel picked up the win for Grand Forks, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-3. The win makes Grand Forks 14-13.
