Jackson Silences Put-In-Bay Bats
|
Alameda starter Peter Jackson pitched well against the Put-In-Bay Commodores at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-0. The loss drops the Commodores to 3-16.
Put-In-Bay had little success against Jackson and his fastball. Jackson tossed 99 pitches over 7.1 innings for the Airmen.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Jackson. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
