The Pontiac Godfathers defeated the Syracuse Storm, 10-4. Doing his part was left fielder Colm Lithgoe, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The win moves Pontiac to a record of 2-8.

Pontiac used the timely hitting of Vincente Valentín to capture the win. The first baseman socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Godfathers ahead, 6-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Lithgoe.
