Jones Throws 5-Hitter En Route to 6-2 Torch Win
The Mancelona Torch picked up a win at Torch Field, knocking off the Syracuse Storm, 6-2. Starting pitcher Myles Jones was a big reason why. The Torch, now 4-0, have been playing some good baseball.

Jones was in the zone all game. He frustrated Syracuse hitters while giving the Torch 9 innings of quality work. Jones threw 108 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 11 punchouts.
