Haverfldt Propels Northville to 5-0 Win
|
Northville picked up a win at Old-Timers Park, bumping off the Yakima Hops, 5-0. Pitcher Harri Haverfldt was a major reason the Eclipse emerged victorious. Northville is now 53-48, Yakima 45-56.
Haverfldt, who dominated for Northville, earned the victory to move to 5-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 6. Yakima batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Haverfldt.
