A good performance from right fielder Frank Rodríguez helped the Westwood Sixshooters defeat the Ottawa Nationals, 7-3. Rodríguez was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times for the Sixshooters. The victory gives Westwood a record of 57-43.

Westwood used the timely hitting of Wayne Newman to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sixshooters on top, 6-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
