Casper first baseman Tomás Ventura was sensational. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Billings beat the Ghosts, 8-6. Lewis Thompson was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Billings occupies first place in the Menard's AA at 57-43.

It could have been a different outcome for Billings, had it not been for Arnold Johnston, the 24-year old catcher . Johnston contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Billings up, 2-1.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Johnston told the Billings Gazette.
