Lancaster beat Marquette on the strength of starter Jop Abeele's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Abeele, now 4-1, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs. Ramón Pacheco earned his 1st save in 1 chances.
Tyler Harris had a big hit for Lancaster in the top of the fourth inning. With Lancaster leading 1-0, Harris hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Farmers up, 4-0.
"It was a solid team effort," said Harris after the game.
Lancaster now sits at 45-50, while Marquette falls to 48-47.
