Tomás Rodríguez pitched well, but the Tacoma Fur Traders still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Toledo Saboteurs at Ballpark of Tacoma. Toledo reliever Claudio Aguilar picked up the win, upping his record to 6-2. Tomás Rodríguez absorbed the loss. Toledo is now 52-41, Tacoma 34-59.

Toledo needed the clutch hitting of Ralph McDonald to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Saboteurs on top, 4-3. For the game, McDonald had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," McDonald told the Toledo Daily.
