Hops Rally For 3-2 Win
|
The Yakima Hops wiggled past the Northville Eclipse, 3-2, at Old-Timers Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Yakima pitcher Adrián Correa. Yakima is now 37-50, Northville 44-43.
Yakima used the timely hitting of Gerardo López to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hops on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.
"Exhilarating win," said López.
