The Lancaster Farmers had to overcome a fine performance from Tacoma pitcher Albert Davis to grab a 1-0 win at Farmers Field. Davis allowed 1 run over 6.1 innings. Troy Charles Jr. recorded the save, his 3rd. Lancaster now owns a record of 26-31.
The Farmers got a big boost from right fielder Akihiro Ito who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth inning off Fur Traders hurler Albert Davis. It was his 32nd RBI of the season and put Lancaster on top, 1-0.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Ito.
