The first-place Billings Polar Bears picked up another win.

The Billings Polar Bears topped the Westwood Sixshooters, 3-2, in M3L Double A action at The Igloo. The standout performance belonged to Billings pitcher and Treasure Island, Florida, native Bob Brown. Brown, now 5-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 1, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs.

Early in the game, first baseman James Dobbs had a 2-run home run for Billings. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Polar Bears on top, 2-0.

"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," Dobbs said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."

Billings is now 35-19, while Westwood is 29-25.
