The Marquette Miners and Asheville Highlanders were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Right-hander Yermolay Olhivsky mesmerized the Marquette Miners while leading the Asheville Highlanders to a 7-0 victory. Olhivsky got the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 5 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Olhivsky allowed no runs. Earning his 1st save for Asheville was Martín Rivera.

Asheville left fielder August Skenandore contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the Highlanders ahead, 2-0.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Skenandore told the Asheville Chronicle.

The Highlanders go to 30-24, putting them second in the Menard's AA.
