The Billings Polar Bears beat the Lancaster Farmers, 5-2, at Farmers Field. Martín Guzmán went 1-1 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. The 23-year old left fielder was a menace to Lancaster all day. Billings reliever Ricardo Ramírez picked up the win, while Júlio Perea took the loss for Lancaster. The save went to Júlio Martínez, his 17th this season.
Guzmán made an early impact for Billings when he stroked his 10th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came in the top of the third, put the Polar Bears on top, 4-0.
"We've got a great group of guys," Guzmán said, "and we're having fun right now."
The Polar Bears improve their record to 31-17 with the win over Lancaster.
