Riding the 3-hit performance of the slick-fielding second baseman William Moore, the Marquette Miners stopped the Lancaster Farmers, 3-2. The Miners have now won 4 straight.
Moore came through for Marquette with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. He hit a 1-0 fastball to left-center field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Moore told the Marquette Today. "Whatever it takes."
