5 Straight Wins for Farmers
No one was more impactful than Mario Flemate in the 4-2 Lancaster win over Tacoma. Flemate was 2-4 with a double. Wulf Hinkamp snagged the win in relief. In 3 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 4-1 on the season. Picking up the save was Jeff Petersen, his 2nd.

Lancaster used the bat of Roland Matthews to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Farmers ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Lancaster skipper Tracy Williams.

The Farmers have now won 5 straight.
