Polar Bears Top Sixshooters, 7-0, Behind Jackson
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Billings Polar Bears and Westwood Sixshooters.
Westwood had no answer for Billings Polar Bears starter Alan Jackson, who flummoxed Sixshooters hitters as the Polar Bears cruised to victory, 7-0. Billings leads the Menard's AA by 4½ games.
Jackson, who was born in New York, threw 92 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing no runs.
"Alan was throwing free and easy," said Billings manager Marvin Nelson.
