Highlanders Beat Farmers, 2-1

Starting pitcher Clemenz Lawrence held up his part of the bargain, helping the Asheville Highlanders stymie the Lancaster Farmers, 2-1. Tom Young closed the game out for Asheville, earning his 6th save. With the win, the Highlanders sit at 16-8.
With one out in the bottom of the eighth, Nathan Pretty had a game-changing hit. The Highlanders second baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Troy Charles Jr., making the score 2-0, Asheville.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Lancaster manager Tracy Williams, "let me know."
