Nationals Win 4-3 Walk-Off
|
Fans got some free baseball at Nationals Park.
In a close game at Nationals Park, the Ottawa Nationals edged the Toledo Saboteurs, 4-3. Ottawa left fielder Victor Porter stood apart with his performance. He was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. Ottawa occupies third place in the Menard's AA at 14-9.
The Nationals relied on second baseman Colm Sergeant for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.
"This wasn't a good win," said Porter. "It was a great win."
