Asheville Park was host to some action-packed drama.
The Asheville Highlanders racked up a win at Asheville Park, bumping off the Casper Ghosts, 3-2. Yermolay Olhivsky, who started for Asheville, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, Asheville upped its record to 13-8.
Asheville won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Jorge Cestero on the mound for Casper, first baseman Evan Segar hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Highlanders fans to their feet.
