The Lancaster Farmers took Northville pitcher Tim Chuter's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Farmers Field. The final score had Lancaster getting past the Eclipse, 7-4. Chuter went 5.1 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 8. Wulf Hinkamp earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-1. With the win, Lancaster climbs to 10-9.

Roland Matthews hit a 2-run double off Tim Chuter in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Farmers in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Matthews had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"The most important thing is that we won," Matthews said.
