Akihiro Ito batted in 4 runs to lead Lancaster to a win over Yakima. The final score was 6-4. Ito chipped in with 1 single and 1 home run. Ken John sewed up the save, his 1st. The Hops fall to 5-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2050 season.

Ito contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Lancaster in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-2, Ito took a fastball from Alfredo Lugo and stroked the home run to right-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Farmers to leap in front, 5-3.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Ito.
