Asheville starter Yermolay Olhivsky pitched well against the Toledo Saboteurs at Toledo Backyard Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Tom Young got credit for the save for Asheville. It was his 1st of the year. The win gives Asheville a record of 3-1.

Asheville used the clutch hitting of Joren van Schie to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Highlanders the lead, 4-2. For the game, van Schie had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Asheville manager Carlos Pérez.
