League Issues 4-Game Suspensions for Brawl Friday, May 28th , 2049 One player challenged the other with some angry words at the Divided-Pandas game at MSL D.C. Ballpark yesterday. There was some pushing and shoving -- then the dugouts emptied. There was a lot of scuffling, but no punches thrown. When order was finally restored and the dust settled, the umpires ejected MSL D.C.'s Buddy Hawkins and MSL Montana's Mikilana Lokela. Now both antagonists will get some time off, courtesy of the league commissioner. They were suspended 4 games for inappropriate and aggressive behavior. Thus far this year Hawkins is hitting .273 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
