Pandas End Vásquez's Streak Saturday, September 4th , 2049 Lady Luck was not on the side of Gabriel Vásquez or his teammates today at MSL Montana Ballpark. Everything went the way of the MSL Montana Pandas, who not only came away with the 5-0 victory over MSL Thunder Bay, but also held Vásquez hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 41-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Vásquez said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." On the year Vásquez has hit .453 with 2 home runs, 51 RBIs and scored 49 runs. |
