Knights End Won's Streak Wednesday, August 25th , 2049 It was a doubly miserable day today for Kwang-ho Won of the MSL Toledo Stingers, as he saw his 22-game hitting streak end and his team lose 6-2 to the MSL Kingston Township Knights at MSL Toledo Ballpark. The 18-year-old first baseman was held hitless in 4 at-bats by the Knights. "Anyone on a 22-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," MSL Kingston Township manager Dan Taylor said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." Thus far this season Won has hit .453 with 8 home runs, 63 RBIs and scored 48 times. |
