Martínez's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Tuesday, August 24th , 2049 Juan Martínez of the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers tagged 1 hit in today's 8-5 loss to the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos at MSL Las Vegas Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Juan Martínez doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. In 2049 Martínez has hit at a .451 clip with 88 hits, 6 home runs, 58 RBIs and has scored 56 times. |
