Sánchez's Season Could be Over Tuesday, August 24th , 2049 The doctors have spoken and Ramón Sánchez of the MSL Buckhead Bowties didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Sánchez sustained his season-ending injury during the MSL Panama City Piranhas game yesterday at MSL Panama City Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the MSL Buckhead medical staff reported Sánchez had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months. This year Sánchez has compiled a 2-2 mark with a 4.85 ERA. |
