Crowley's Bartelen Gets SA- Player of the Week Monday, September 6th , 2049 Umberto Bartelen went on a hitting spree last week against USSL Low A pitchers and today copped the Player of the Week Award. The Crowley Cajuns third baseman peppered the opposition with 13 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. In the last 7 games he hit .448 with an on-base percentage of .452. This year Bartelen is batting .307 with 107 hits, 23 home runs, 61 RBIs, 14 walks, .342 OBP and has scored 56 runs. |
