Hernández Pitches 5-0 Shutout Monday, August 23rd , 2049 In a seemingly effortless performance, Gabriel Hernández of the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish shot down the Bompton Baby Lakers 5-0 on a 2-hit shutout. "Gabriel was just locating so well and using his pitches," Plattsburgh manager Wallace James said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Hernández recorded 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Bompton manager Vernon Anderson said in postgame comments to BNN.
