Ocampo Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, August 21st , 2049 Arabello Ocampo has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 17-year-old Ladue Rams second baseman extended his streak today to 20 games, going 1-for-5 as Ladue got the best of the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish at Ballpark of Wellsville, 8-4. "Arabello has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Rams manager Lance Davis said. Arabello Ocampo struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Ocampo has hit .360 with 6 home runs, 43 RBIs and 64 runs scored. |
