Big Day for Ramos: Swats 5 Hits Wednesday, June 30th , 2049 It was a sensational day at the plate for Alfredo Ramos as he led the charge to a 7-5 win over the Angel Kitties. The Plattsburgh second baseman was pure misery for the Bethlehem pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Ramos put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Sal Haynes, manager for the Angel Kitties, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Alfredo Ramos doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. For the season Ramos has hit .253 with no home runs and 9 RBIs.
