The manager of the Monroeville Yinzers said he thinks Max Rendell is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2049 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the M3L Single A Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .287 batting average and a .376 on-base percentage this year. In 82 games he piled up 92 hits, 20 doubles, 4 triples, 13 home runs, 53 RBIs and 49 runs scored.
He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 12. Sun-jae Song of the Mancelona Torch finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Glen Ackland of the Mancelona Torch finished third with 3 first place votes.
