3A Top Manager is Whipp of Belleville Wednesday, September 22nd , 2049 Edward Whipp celebrated a successful season with the Belleville Bulls by hosting team officials and select media at a Belleville area first-class eatery. But when he first came to town, the 2049 M3L Single A Manager of the Year was met with a good measure of skepticism. "Very few people believed in our ballclub when I got here. It just goes to show you that a bunch of talented ballplayers playing together can make any old manager a genius," a modest Whipp joked, not fully recognizing his own stature in the baseball community.
