3L A Championship Sweep to Bulls Thursday, September 9th , 2049 It was a glorious moment for Bulls fans today as Belleville claimed the 2049 3L A Championship title with a 14-2 victory at Belleville Field. Jubilant Belleville players swamped each other on the diamond after completing a dominant sweep of the Alameda Airmen, as chants of "Thank you, Bulls" reverberated all around the ballpark. In the losing dugout, sadness reigned. Airmen skipper Gonzalo Féliz told reporters it was "hard to describe" the feeling of losing in the 3L A Championship. "Your heart is heavy, you are hurting -- it's a very difficult time," he said. "And to be swept is embarrassing. You just want to forget it ever happened." For the Belleville Bulls, it was a season to remember. They finished the regular season with a record of 59-37, good enough for first place in the Menard's A.
