Rocky Mountain's Webster Sidelined for Season Saturday, August 21st , 2049 The season is finished for Matt Webster of the Rocky Mountain Vibes. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Vibes starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Niagara Falls Expos. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. Currently Webster has a 5-1 won-lost record in 7 starts with a 2.59 ERA. He also has 62 strikeouts in 66 innings. |
