Kong Snags Rookie of Month Trophy Friday, October 1st , 2049 Xiao-gang Kong's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Greenville shortstop has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .403 with 4 doubles, no triples and 4 home runs. Kong also scored 9 times and drove in 9 runs. This year Kong has hit at a .303 clip with 41 RBIs, 11 home runs and 41 runs scored. |
