Injury Setback for Dirty Reds Ruah Friday, September 24th , 2049 The San Mateo Dirty Reds announced today that Quitério Ruah would be missing for longer than expected as the 29-year-old center fielder recovers from a strained groin muscle. "Quitério had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Dirty Reds GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Ruah would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 1-2 weeks more recovery time." Presently Ruah is batting .250 with 11 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 85 games and scored 31 times. |
