Hit Streak Now at 20 for Wonder Thursday, September 16th , 2049 Tony Wonder collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Athletic Club KC, beat the Vancouver Grey Wolves 1-0. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Wonder quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Tony Wonder flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th and flied out in the 6th. This season Wonder is hitting .335 with 10 home runs. |
