Bill Dixon Injured, Out for Year Wednesday, August 25th , 2049 Bill Dixon of the Bullets just might have to call it quits for the season. The 35-year-old Baltimore third baseman received a possible season-ending injury against the Vancouver Grey Wolves recently at Baltimore Grounds. Dixon suffered a broken kneecap while running the bases. The Bullets medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7-8 months. Currently Dixon is hitting .217 and has collected 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 28 times, while playing in 78 games. |
