Williams Grabs 3L Reliever of the Year Award
Tuesday, November 3rd , 2048
Don Williams said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 25 years old.
But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Las Vegas Flamingos rising star has won the Menard's Third League Reliever of the Year Award for 2048.
He captured the award on the strength of his 3.31 ERA over 51.2 innings. He also had 33 saves in 45 relief appearances, 78 strikeouts and only 10 walks.
Arthur Anderson of the Panama City Piranhas finished second in voting, while Armando Trujillo of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished third.
