3L's Best Batter Selected Thursday, October 1st , 2048 Chan-ho Shinn received the Menard's Third League Batter of the Month trophy earlier today for his efforts at the plate this last month. "He might be getting older," Las Vegas's manager told reporters, "But he's been around long enough to know what it takes to put a stretch such as this together... and he doesn't keep that to himself. He's always talking to the younger guys in the clubhouse helping 'em any way they'll let him. Chan-ho's value to our team goes farther than the numbers he puts up on the field." To win the honor Shinn put up a .400 batting average, 5 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 15 times in September. Shinn on the season is hitting .282 with 18 home runs. His stats include 74 RBIs and 66 runs scored. |
