Ft. Worth Inks CL Handley to Big Extension Tuesday, September 29th , 2048 Ft. Worth management got a shot in the arm today as Maverick Handley announced he would re-sign with the organization at a rate of $5,000,000 per year. While some have questioned hiring a 35-year-old man, most fans and sportswriters appear receptive as Handley is still an A list player. Looking at his pitching stats this season, Handley has made 46 relief appearances, pitched 51 innings and fashioned a 4-6 record with a 3.53 ERA. He has recorded 28 saves, struck out 46 and allowed opposing clubs to hit .240 when he is on the hill. |
