3L Player of the Week Awarded Monday, September 7th , 2048 22-year-old Hsiao-lou Rui sent shock waves through Menard's Third League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Menard's Third League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Rui made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .611 average, 11 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 runs batted in. Where the Nashville Outlaws left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Rui certainly made his mark last week. In the 2048 season Rui is hitting .355 with 15 home runs. |
