Divided plan to take it slow with reliever David Guzmán, knowing that his recovery from a strained biceps would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "David has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about one week before he can be activated." On the year, Guzmán has recorded 15 saves with a 2-8 record over 36.2 innings. He has mowed down 44 batters on strikes and walked 22 with an ERA of 5.40. |
